Sabir Zafar (born 12 September 1949, Kahuta)〔(Sabir Zafar ) Retrieved 25 June 2013〕〔 is a poet from Pakistan whose poetry has been sung by various singers notably Junoon. He is the recipient of Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2010.〔(Governor confers awards on renowned personalities ) 24 March 2010 Daily Times. Retrieved 25 June 2013〕 He is the author of more than a dozen books of poetry and is widely known for his excellent and heart touching poetry. He is a member of the Ahmadiyya Jamaat.

Zafar was born as Muzaffar Ahmed in Kahuta, Rawalpindi District in 1949 to a school teacher.〔〔
